Winslow and surrounding areas Theory test This test consists of two parts. 50 multiple-choice questions -- you must answer 43 correctly to pass. Hazard perception test -- this follows part
one and involves a series of 14 video clips. Each clip has at least one developing hazard. However, one clip has two! You respond by clicking a mouse button when each hazard is spotted. The earlier you click the mouse, the more points you will score up to a maximum of five per clip. The pass mark for this part of the test is 44 from a possible 75. You must pass both parts of the test in the same sitting to be able to progress to the practical driving test. Practical driving test
A 40 minute to test of your ability to drive encompassing different roads and situations. You must also perform two manoeuvres and possibly an emergency stop.
Manoeuvres: turn in the road, reverse left, reverse park. The reverse park manoeuvre may be either the parallel park or the Bay Park. There is also an eye test, and what is known as the 'show me, tell me' element, which examines some very basic essentials for car maintenance, such as knowing where to check the oil. | |
